West Bend humpy

Thanks guys on your inspiring page three years ago I discovered alternate building through the book Building Green by Clarke Snell/Tim Callahan. The booked opened my eyes to so many things. I have always wanted to build a shelter so I decided why not. I live on a small property southern New South Wales Australia where we have scrub that is fire hazard in bush fire season my idea is use this material and make something useful. The main material is tea tree and pine trees (pinus radiate) so the tea tree becomes wattle and daub walls, the pine a cordwood wall. At the moment I am clearing the site it is very time consuming as most of the time it is just me with the chain saw or brush cutter.
